The Berlin Wall--its construction, the reaction of the people who live near it and dramatic escapes over it by East German civilians and soldiers--is the subject of this excellent short documentary. Artistic montage editing techniques of authentic footage complemented by a music score without commentary add to the dynamic pace of this film.
