AMERICAN AIRCRAFT BOMB JAPANESE AIRPLANE HANGARS ON THE MARSHALL ISLANDS: US naval anti-aircraft guns pound attacking Japanese planes. After quickly establishing a beachhead, American infantry units advance with an escort of Alligator tanks. Infantry flamethrowers take out Japanese pillboxes. The 13th Air Force knocks out Japanese 90mm coastal guns. Americans capture Japanese anti-aircraft guns. 3.
