Although they have been previously well documented, this is the first time that a thorough photographic search of these operations and other Nazi incursions within and on American shores has been attempted, with the stories and photo evidence put together in one volume. Some pre-war Nazi spy operations, subversive organizations in the United States, and operations that had been planned but were not executed are also investigated, and other pertinent stories and photographs are included. The authors have searched FBI files and dozens of books and documents to piece together these remarkable stories, but some facts are still elusive, so research will continue in order to update the stories in future printings.
