This book is one of the very few books in print dedicated to being a photochronicle of the famous Condor Legion of German volunteers that fought with pro-Franco forces during the Spanish Civil War from 1936-1939. Many of the tactics the Germans used in World War 2 were formulated and refined during operations in Spain. Some of their greatest Aces earned their spurs’ as members of the Legion Condor. This photochronicle contains 52 color and 68 monotone photographs, many of them full page or gate-fold. Most of the photos have never before been published, covering all aspects of the Condor Legions contribution to the Nationalist victory.
