Fallschirmjäger & Flieger Marches

Historical Facts: The Fallschrimjagers were an untried elite secret weapon in 1939-40. They captured Norway, the Netherlands, Eben Emael and Crete. Later they became the most dogged opponents on the defense at Casino, Italy. The Luftwaffe using innovative new tactics and aircraft swept their enemies from the skies and then supported the panzers in the revolutionary new Blitzkrieg warfare conquering most of Europe and Western Russia and the Ukraine.

Front Cover: Brilliant 1939 painting by noted Third Reich artist Claus Bergen of München for the Junkers Motorwerke of Dessau.
