A Few Quick Facts: An animated sequence illustrating the magnitude of the Air Transport Command, contributions to the war effort by Allied Chinese soldiers, and the expansion of US shipbuilding. 5. Hawaiian Jungle Training: General Marshall inspects simulated jungle training grounds. 6. Liberation of Paris (August 18th): The French underground rises up against the German occupation forces.
